Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of The Beacon Centre mobile app. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

The Beacon Centre app gives you access to sermons, devotionals, live services, audio messages, Community Service Group (CSG) information, and giving. Most of the app works without an account. Creating an account (name, email, and a passcode) is optional and only needed for saving content, joining a CSG, or repeat giving.

Accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your passcode private and for anything done under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account — see our Privacy Policy for what that removes.
• We may suspend or remove an account used to abuse the app (e.g. spam, harassment, fraud).

Giving

• Giving through the app is voluntary. Payments are processed by Paystack; we don't store your full card details.
• Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a transaction was made in error, contact the church office through the app.

Community Service Groups

CSG information (meeting times, locations, updates) is provided by the relevant group's admin. Attendance and participation happen in person and are outside the app's control.

Content

Sermons, devotionals, and other content in the app belong to The Beacon Centre or are used with permission. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g. sharing a link, listening for your own devotion). Please don't re-upload or redistribute our video/audio content elsewhere without permission.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the app to:

• Harass, abuse, or impersonate others (including in prayer requests or contact messages).
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its backend.
• Submit false information when giving or contacting the church.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is." We do our best to keep content accurate and the app running smoothly but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Changes

We may update these terms or the app's features over time. Material changes will update the date above.
